Interprofessional Education

As an important means of improving patient health outcomes and job satisfaction in healthcare providers, faculty in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology are committed to enhancing student education in the area of Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (IPCP) through both Interprofessional Education (IPE) and IPCP educational activities. IPE and IPCP experiences offered in collaboration with other programs at èßäÉçÇøAPP include both coursework and clinical education opportunities, with direct patient interaction and simulation activities. IPE and IPCP opportunities are continuously being sought and developed, therefore, specific interprofessional education and interprofessional collaborative practice opportunities may vary across programs within the Department and across academic year.
